写真はイタリア料理では定番のモッツァレラチーズ、そしてトマト。写真真ん中の黄色い物体はベルペッパー（ピーマン）のマリネで、今回のタイトルのイタリアン膾（なます）。ちなみに更に中央の赤いものはプチトマト。「イタリアン膾」と名づけたのは、イタリアの調味料を使ったから。ベルペッパーもイタリア料理では良く使われる食材。
